In 2007-08 CLAN Edinburgh awarded grants totalling just over £50,000 to 9 new projects aiming to recruit 400 new learners from some of the ‘hardest to reach’ client groups as identified in the national and local strategy plans. Groups and organisations such as Men in Mind, Deafblind Scotland, Sikh Sanjog, Apex Scotland, Dunedin Canmore Housing Association in partnership Edinburgh Council’s Community Based Adult Learning, and Apex Scotland all received grants.

The dates for application rounds and briefing sessions on how to apply in 2008-09 will be announced shortly.
