CLAN is a partnership
project funded by the Scottish Government. Based on clear principles of
inclusion and lifelong learning, it aims to increase and improve literacy and numeracy learning
opportunities in Edinburgh.
We prioritise work with:
- People with limited initial
education, particularly young adults, including 15 year olds no longer in
school
- Unemployed people and workers facing
redundancy
- People with English as a second or
additional language
- People who live in disadvantaged areas
- Workers in low skill jobs or low
incomes
- People with a health issue
