Free Introductory Training for Volunteers For people who are interested in volunteering as tutor assistants with CLAN providers: The next Introduction to Tutoring in Adult Literacies Learning course (ITALL) starts in September 2009 - with optional SQA accreditation. It prepares people to work as Tutor Assistants, usually in a group, alongside an experienced group tutor. Training Routes in Adult Literacy & Numeracy Free Awareness Raising Sessions For whole organisations and staff teams who are interested in finding out more about adult literacy and numeracy and CLAN. Sessions can also include advice on how to refer service users who could benefit from accessing CLAN learning programmes and can be tailored to suit your organisation.
Free Adult Literacy and Numeracy Awareness Raising Training For staff in organisations who would like to support their users in literacy and numeracy. Courses run throughout the year and are sometimes available for whole teams.
